Orders are accepted only on these terms and conditions.

VAT where applicable is not included in any quotation.

Instructions

To avoid mistakes, all instructions and dimensions stated verbally by clients must be confirmed in writing as soon as possible. Positive Images is not liable for errors arising from verbal misunderstandings. Please check that we have interpreted your order correctly and that our service is suitable for your requirements.

Quotations, Prices and Delivery Dates

Quotations, prices and delivery dates are subject to confirmation at the time of placing an order. Positive Images reserves the right to amend the price and/or terms of quotation if on inspection of a client’s order instruction they differ from the quotation that was given. All our quotations for digital or litho printing are subject to sight of artwork.

Credit Accounts

Credit accounts are subject to NETT MONTHLY settlement. Positive Images reserves the right to charge interest at the prevailing Barclays Bank PLC bank rate +4% per month on any accounts outstanding after 60 days. The title of goods remains with Positive Images until paid for in full.

New Accounts

Full payment will be required prior to fulfilment of order on all new accounts.

Order Values

On all orders with a total value of £3000 or more, a 50% progress payment will be required with the order and prior to the commencement of the work, unless specifically agreed otherwise. In the absence of an official order, a copy of the quotation/and or work instruction will be faxed to you and deemed contractual.

Packing and Transport

While the greatest of care is taken in packaging and dispatching goods, we are under no circumstances liable for any delay to, damage to or loss of articles after leaving our works. Claims for damage while in transit should be made upon the carriers delivering the goods immediately on receipt. In the event of complaint against any goods, delivered, lost or delayed, written notification to us must be made within 7 days of receipt. In the absence of such notification we will be unable to accept any liability.

Loss or Damage

While every care and precaution is taken against loss or damage to customers’ original or other articles, we shall not be held responsible for any loss or damage from any cause whatsoever in respect of any article entrusted to us for any purpose whatsoever.

N.B. Carriers are not 100% reliable and we cannot accept responsibility for the late delivery of goods due to them failing to deliver on time. If time is critical, our own transport must be used and charged accordingly.
