Warranty

Unless otherwise stated, Positive Images warrants to the original purchaser from the date of purchase a no time limit warranty to repair or replace, at Positive Images' discretion, all products (except printed graphic panels) that fail to perform for whatever reason. All electrical parts and components are covered for a period of one year from date of purchase. Applied graphics and bulbs are excluded from this warranty. Defect or malfunction shall be determined by Positive Images and not by any representative of any of its distributors or dealers.

The conditions of this warranty are:

• The unit shall have been subject to normal use and service only and shall not have been abused, misused, neglected, altered or otherwise damaged.
• There shall be no evidence of tampering, deliberate destruction or improper handling, installation or maintenance.
• The Positive Images works order number or a copy of the original purchase order and date of purchase shall be provided to Positive Images by the original purchaser when requesting the repair or replacement of a part during the warranty period.
• No representative of Positive Images or any of its manufacturers' representatives or distributors or any other person is authorised to assume for Positive Images any other obligations or liability in connection with its products, nor modify, extend or alter the terms of this warranty in any way. This warranty is limited to the express provisions contained herein and does not extend to liability for labour costs incurred in replacing any defective parts.
• Positive Images’ liability is limited exclusively to the repair or replacement of a defective part during the warranty period.
• Authorisation to return any alleged defective part must be obtained from Positive Images before the part is transported and the transportation charges for any alleged defective parts must be paid by the original purchaser.

ALL IMPLIED WARRANTIES, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ARE LIMITED IN DURATION TO TWO YEARS FROM THE DATE OF PURCHASE. THE WARRANTY AND REMEDIES SET FORTH ARE EXCLUSIVE AND IN LIEU OF ALL OTHERS, ORAL OR WRITTEN, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. POSITIVE IMAGES SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR SPECIAL INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH THE PERFORMANCE OF A PORTABLE DISPLAY UNIT OR ITS USE, EVEN IF POSITIVE IMAGES IS ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
